The Change We See

     I created a series of paintings and Photoshop collages about climate change. I believe my art will strike a conversation with the world, about the world. People mainly pay attention to the beauty of nature and not what is happening to it. Topics that I have touched upon in my work are rising sea levels, deforestation, plastic pollution, melting icebergs, and air pollution. I painted beautiful sceneries that I want people to notice first. Then I added different parts about how climate change has affected us and those beautiful sceneries. With the collages, I started with beautiful locations and then added elements, people, and animals to them. I want the audience to start off by seeing the beauty and then see the pain we caused towards the end of the pieces. This series creates an impact on viewers and I hope they try to change the ways of climate change.
