My name is Angelís Wong and I am an artist. I recently graduated from Manhattanville College and majored in Studio Art. I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2020 and I am excited to grow as an Artist in my next adventures.

I always loved to draw when I was a little girl. When I went to school I was always encouraged by my Art teacher to create more and enter art competitions. Learning about different media and colors was always exciting growing up. I find myself still getting excited when learning about new techniques, mediums, and different types of art.

In the past few years, I have explored different themes in my artwork. I love doing still lifes and figure drawing but I wanted to try new themes and subject matter. I did some abstract pieces, colorful pieces, and recently some pieces on climate change. I want my audience to feel a connection with my artwork. I want the pieces to evoke feelings and thoughts, not just look pretty. I believe an artist can alter people's mindsets by communicating through their work.
